Jim Berry's career in the visual arts began in Seattle where he graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in creative writing and photojournalism. Following his undergraduate work, Jim spent seven years as a general assignment newspaper photographer for The Albuquerque Tribune, The Aberdeen Daily World, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Seattle Times.

In addition, he worked as a staff photographer for The Goodwill Games and was the team photographer for The Seattle Supersonics for two seasons. He attended both The Eddie Adams Photojournalism Workshop and The Missouri Photojournalism Workshop. His pictures have been published in newspapers and magazines the world over including Details, Outtakes, The New York Times and Rolling Stone.

In 1996, Jim was accepted to NYU's Graduate Film Program. There, Jim wrote, directed and photographed all of his student films and photographed over 30 other films and videos. In addition, Jim maintained a client list for his still photography that included The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York University, Deloitte and Touche, Red Letter Events, Time Out New York, and Swarovski.

In 1999, his short film script, Semmelweis, won a production grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Semmelweis was completed in 2001 and has since gone on to over two dozen film festivals worldwide. In 2002, Jim was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to write the feature length script based on the story of Semmelweis. In 2004, he completed a short film, Massive Arabesque, for Microsoft which premiered at Siggraph 2004 in Los Angeles.

Currently, Jim splits his time between Seattle and Portland, Oregon where he is making films, photographing editorial assignments and weddings, and completing the design of a graphic novel based on the Semmelweis story. Recent clients include Ace Hardware, Aegis Living, Microsoft, and Habitat for Humanity.

Fritz Michel was born in Paris, France and moved to New Jersey in fourth grade. He received a BA in history from Yale University. After college, he moved to New York City where he worked for the Natural Resources Defense Council, a national environmental advocacy group. After a eight-year hiatus, he resumed his acting career. He studied with renowned teacher Terry Schreiber and was quickly cast in a string of Off Broadway, Off-Off Broadway and regional productions including Alan Ayckbourn's Bedroom Farce, Ira Levin's Deathtrap, Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac, Dangerous Liaisons, The Foreigner, Cheek by Jowl's Vanity Fair and Camus' The Just/Les Justes. He also collaborated on productions with emerging writers at Columbia Dramatists, Playwrights Horizons, Tribeca Performing Arts Center and La MaMa ETC. Fritz made his Broadway debut in the National Actors Theater revival of Inherit the Wind with George C. Scott and Charles Durning. While living in New York, Fritz also produced live theater including early productions of Stephen Belber's (Tape, The Laramie Project) work.

In 2002, Fritz moved to Los Angeles and originated the role of William in Oren Safdie's critically-acclaimed comedy Private Jokes, Public Places. After two Los Angeles productions, the show moved to NYC's La Mama, ETC in the spring of 2003 and transferred Off-Broadway later that year. The Young Allies production of Private Jokes, Public Places was named one of Los Angeles' top ten theater productions of 2003 by Theater 2K.

On television, Fritz has made guest appearances on ER and Alias. In addition to Semmelweis and The Dancing Man, Fritz's films include Angels & Demons,Syriana, Great Expectations, The Broken Giant, Get Lucky, Signal-to-Noise and Tree Shade (AMPAS Student Oscar). He also served as associate producer of The Broken Giant which is part of MoMA's permanent collection. Currently, he is executive producer of the short film Red Letters and is developing other multi-media projects. During the summer months, he acts and directs at the Theater Workshop of Nantucket.

Fritz was a contributing writer to Comedy Central's deviant puppet show Crank Yankers in 2002. He is also proud of his work as a voice actor/narrator for the Lend-A-Hand Society's collection of audio books and radio dramas. He can be heard on the animated series "Daphne and the Brilliant Blue" on the Cartoon Network.

He moved to Bronxville, New York in the summer of 2009 where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
